01We talk
A free consultation about your business, your area and what a new customer is worth to you.
- Your part
- Tell us what you sell and where you work.
- Our part
- We tell you if ChatGPT ads make sense for you today. Sometimes the answer is not yet.
Illustration: a customer asks ChatGPT a question, ChatGPT answers with general advice and, below the answer, a sponsored ad for Your business appears.
Example. The answer is ChatGPT's. The ad is the part you pay for.
Why would I advertise in a chat?

house cleaning near me
I need a deep clean for a 3-bedroom house before Friday, and I have two dogs. What should I ask before I book?

kitchen remodel cost
We want to redo a small kitchen without moving the plumbing. What is a fair way to compare two contractors?

dog groomer
My senior dog gets anxious in the car. Is mobile grooming a better idea, and what does a visit include?
A search is three words. A question tells the whole story: what the person needs, by when, and what worries them. An ad placed under that answer reaches someone who has already explained what they want.
Searches and questions written as examples.
Does ChatGPT have ads?
Yes. OpenAI began testing ads in ChatGPT in the United States in early 2026 1, and in May 2026 it opened its Ads Manager so local businesses can buy them directly 2.
People on the Free and Go plans. Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu accounts have no ads.3
Below the end of the answer, labeled as sponsored and set apart from it.3
Advertisers cannot shape, rank or change what ChatGPT says. Paying for an ad does not buy a recommendation.3
OpenAI does not show ads to accounts it identifies as under 18.3
No ads near conversations about personal health, mental health or politics.3
Advertisers never receive the conversation, the person's name, email or precise location. They see totals, like views and clicks.3
What nobody can tell you yet is how well this works for a business like yours. There are months of results to look at, not years. We would rather put you there early and report what we see than pretend otherwise.

The public name people see next to the ad.
OpenAI suggests 16 to 24. There is room for one idea.
23/50One sentence that answers what the person just asked.
50/100A page about that exact service, with your phone number in sight.
Cleaning. Cleaning is a local service, one of the kinds of business OpenAI accepts.
Construction and remodeling. The click should open your kitchen page, with photos. Not your home page.
Insurance agencies. Insurance counts as financial services. OpenAI has to approve those advertisers before they run.
Softplay and kids' entertainment. ChatGPT does not show ads to accounts under 18. Your ad reaches the parents.
Marketing agencies. People describe their whole situation here. One ad per kind of client works better than one ad for everyone.
Mobile grooming. Mobile services fit a question like this one: the person already said they do not want to drive.
Luxury beauty salons. OpenAI turns down ads that promise health results. We describe the service and stop there.
Restaurants and cafés. Your ad can show your food and your tables. Ads that promote alcohol are not accepted.
Other local businesses. Not sure where your business fits? Tell us what you do and we check it against OpenAI's rules.
An example. ChatGPT writes its own answer every time and never names you in it. The ad shows only when OpenAI matches it to the conversation.
I want my ad writtenWe write the final ad with you.
And the other assistants?
Five assistants, and only one sells ads the way you would expect.

Can my business do this?
Three taps. You get a straight answer.
Do you have a web page the ad can send people to?
Is your business registered under a legal name?
What do you sell?
Example
Answer the three questions. From what you told us, you can start. One thing comes first.2 things come first.3 things come first.Today OpenAI does not accept ads for that kind of product.
1Do you have a web page the ad can send people to?
You have a page for the click to land on.
The page comes first: every ad needs one to send the click to. We build it.
Your page exists, but the click has to land on one that gets the call. We look at it together on the consultation.
2Is your business registered under a legal name?
OpenAI can verify your business under its legal name.
OpenAI verifies the legal name of the business and does not open accounts for individuals. We go over it with you on the call.
OpenAI verifies the legal name of the business. We help you find out how yours is registered.
3What do you sell?
Local services are among the kinds of business OpenAI accepts.
Your category needs OpenAI's approval before any ad runs. We request it with you.
We will not charge you for something that cannot run. Google Ads or SEO may fit you better, and we can look at both.
A quick guide based on OpenAI's rules as of October 2026. OpenAI makes the final call when it reviews your account.
01A free consultation about your business, your area and what a new customer is worth to you.
02OpenAI asks the business itself to open the ad account. We walk you through it on a call, and then you invite us in.
03Each ad is a title, one sentence, an image and the page it opens. We group them by what your customers ask about.
04OpenAI reviews the ads and they start to run. We set a spending cap from day one and watch the first weeks closely.
05A report every month in plain words: how many people saw the ad, how many clicked, what you spent and how many called.
Two separate amounts, and you see both.
What you pay us
$300a monthFirst month freeThe $300 covers setting up, writing and managing your ChatGPT ads. The first month of management is free. The ad budget still goes to OpenAI.

What you pay OpenAI

Your ad budget is paid straight to OpenAI with your own card. It is separate from our $300.
Web development
Not a single trick or trendy font. It is a disciplined blend of clarity, performance, trust and intent, because visitors decide whether to stay in seconds.
Marketing
Stop treating two channels as competitors and use them as one search system.

Lower-cost clicks come from a more relevant account, not from slashing bids.
If yours is not here, ask it on the call.
Yes. ChatGPT shows ads to people on its Free and Go plans. They appear below the answer, labeled as sponsored, and OpenAI says they do not change what ChatGPT answers. Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu accounts see no ads.
No, not anyone. OpenAI accepts registered businesses in the countries where its Ads Manager is available, which includes the United States, and it does not open ad accounts for individuals. Local services are accepted. Insurance, finance, health and legal need approval first. Alcohol, tobacco, gambling, cannabis, dating and political ads are not accepted.
OpenAI charges per click or per thousand views, up to a budget you set yourself. What a click costs you depends on your trade and how many businesses want the same people, and nobody knows it before the ads run. Our management is $300 a month on top, with the first month free.
No. An ad on ChatGPT is a separate, labeled placement under the answer, and OpenAI states that advertisers cannot shape, rank or change what ChatGPT says. Seeing your ad does not mean ChatGPT recommends you.
It depends, and anyone who gives you a sure answer today is guessing. Local businesses have only been able to buy these ads since May 2026, so there are months of results to study, not years. We start with a budget you are comfortable testing, count the calls it brings, and tell you plainly if it is not paying for itself.
You open an advertiser account in OpenAI's Ads Manager, verify your business, add a card, and create a campaign with a budget, a topic and a short ad. With Zeruz, you open the account on a call with us, invite us in, and we write and manage everything from there.
That is SEO work, not advertising. ChatGPT builds its answers from what it finds on the web, so it helps to have a page it can read, clear wording about what you do and where, and reviews on other sites. We do that in our SEO service. Nobody can promise you a mention.
Because you are using the Free or Go plan, which OpenAI supports with advertising. The ad is picked from the topic of your current chat. OpenAI says advertisers never see your conversations, and you can change your ad personalization in ChatGPT's settings.
Ask it here and we reply within 24 hours. If you already know what you want, get your quote and pick a time for your call.
